Miss Lori is the Studio Manager. You can find her at the front desk, cleaning up or observing classes. Miss Lori has been a dance mom for 30+ years. She has raised three dancing daughters, Erica, Hollie and Maddie. She is now the proud owner of a dance competition. She is available to answer any questions you may have financially or otherwise! Instructor From Andover, Massachusetts, Tanya began her dance training at Massachusetts Youth Ballet under Jacqueline Cronsberg and Carter Alexander. She then moved to Philadelphia to attend The Rock School for Dance Education where she continued her dance training. Soon after, Tanya graduated from Point Park University earning her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Dance.Danielle Walker
Instructor - My name is Danielle Walker. I have over 15 years of experience in teaching tumbling and acro for competitive dancers in the Pittsburgh area. Instructor - Alexandra Poorbaugh is an Acro Instructor here at Dance Expressions by Erica. She has trained and performed throughout the country as a competitive dancer as well as a featured dancer for her high school dance team. During and after competing she has experienced teaching and choreographing for all ages and levels of dancers. When it comes to her dancing and teaching, Alexandra has always followed the theory that you get what you give, especially when it comes to hard work.Elektra Davis

The Facility
Dance Expressions by Erica boasts a state-of-the-art facility! We offer four large dance studios with professionally installed sprung floors, 3 with hardwood flooring and one with a marley overlay. Each studio has floor to ceiling mirrors, custom built ballet barres, Flexi Roll foam mats, tumbling mats & skill builders and excellent sound systems. We offer closed circuit viewing to all four studios, along with viewing rooms, spacious waiting areas, a kitchen/homework space and an informative front lobby. The Dance Expressions boutique offers the proper shoes, tights and attire for dance class.

Dance Expressions by Erica is a reputable and welcoming dance studio located in the heart of Irwin. We provide a high quality dance education from a professional and positive faculty for all ages, abilities and levels of experience. The studio features a premium preschool program, an exciting recreational program and pre-professional classes with opportunities to be on our award-winning competitive teams. Dance Expressions is committed to a fun and challenging environment for all of our programs. We expect dedication and encourage progress from the dancers while nurturing each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity. The dancers can expect a motivational and inspiring place to express themselves through the art of dance. Dance Expressions believes that it’s students can accomplish anything. We, as their instructors, help them strive to reach their goals and guide them on the path towards success. Not only will our dancers experience exceptional dance training, the students here at Dance Expressions will learn how to excel in all aspects of their lives. We promote a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, time management abilities, problem-solving skills, teamwork, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexibility and adaptability, and, most importantly, self confidence and self-worth.
